School Canvases & Baby Bassinets: Thread Recommendations
Our newest needlepoint canvases are our First and Last Day of School signs and our Baby Bassinets in Pink, Blue and Green. We have thread recommendations listed below. As always, feel free to make any color swaps you would like!
For the First and Last Day of School needlepoint canvases, we have both Silk & Ivory thread recommendations as well as Planet Earth Wool. We do prefer wool for long lasting pieces, and you will get some piling/ fuzz when stitching with Silk & Ivory on a larger piece - but both work well!
This design was inspired by the finishing idea - which is to have these canvases made into a dual sided sign that your children can use for their First & Last Day of School photos.
BABY BASSINET THREAD RECOMMENDATIONS
Our baby bassinet needlepoint canvases are the perfect gift for any new baby in your life. These come with a charted alphabet to put a monogram and birth date onto your piece. I think these would make perfect ornaments, but love the idea of stitching it into a rectangle shape that is then framed for a nursery. So many options!
